Archery was started in Cherryville in 1997 by Jim Ivanitz. Colin Fazan and Charles Lopez were also involved from that time. We are traditional archers
utilizing recurves, longbows and primitive bows. Some of us belong to the Traditional Bowhunters of B.C., with whom we are associated.
Two-Day Fun Shoot - August 23 & 24, 2008
Any monies collected from our shoots go towards replenishing targets, fixing outhouses and maintaining supplies to keep the shoot going. We are a group organized for the purposes of having fun, getting a bit of exercise and bringing people together - in a safe and ethical manner to enjoy the sport of archery. And for those who hunt with bows and arrows, our shoots are an excellent opportunity to hone hunting skills, pick up tips and tricks and exchange entertaining hunting stories.
New Members Always Welcome! We have some extra bows and arrows available for people wishing to try out this fun sport.
